Sean P. Flynn, Esq.

Co-Founder of Flynn Law, P.A., Sean Flynn is a second-generation personal injury attorney in the Bradenton-Sarasota area. Mr. Flynn’s practice focuses on personal injury, car accidents, DUI defense, criminal defense, criminal investigations, and more.

Born and raised in the Bradenton-Sarasota area, Mr. Flynn is a 1999 graduate of Bradenton Christian School. A talented baseball player, he was honored with an athletic baseball scholarship at the University of Kansas where he went on to earn his undergraduate and graduate degrees.

After graduating in the Big XII, Mr. Flynn played three years of professional baseball.

Using his athletic skills and knowledge, he then furthered his career as a sports agent for an acclaimed company in Chicago. During that time, he learned the ins and outs of:

• Drafting sport and endorsement agreements
• Negotiating contracts
• Signing bonuses
• Sponsorship opportunities

Mr. Flynn has had the opportunity to successfully negotiate deals with prominent companies like Major League Baseball, Franklin, New Balance, PGA/LPGA, Lagardere Sports, NHL, IMG Academy, SFX Baseball, Nike, and Topps, among others.

Upon leaving Chicago, Mr. Flynn completed law school at Ave Maria School of Law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Assistant State Attorney’s office for Manatee and Sarasota County. During his time here, he was able to learn about the strategies and tactics used by law enforcement when prosecuting the accused.

Thanks to this experience, he’s now able to offer clients of Flynn Law, P.A. the unique advantage of having served on both sides of the criminal justice system. As a former prosecutor, Mr. Flynn is proficient as a jury trial attorney, prosecuting hundreds of felony, misdemeanor, domestic battery, DUI, and juvenile cases for the residents of Bradenton, Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, Palmetto, Lakewood Ranch, and more.

After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Flynn worked in transactional matters, civil litigation, and criminal defense for the Bradenton law firm, Harrison & Kirkland, P.A.

A family man at heart, Mr. Flynn is excited for the opportunity to work alongside his wife and local attorney, Anne Flynn. They have built Flynn Law, P.A. from the ground up and look forward to assisting you in all your personal injury, sports law, and criminal defense cases.

He is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

He and Anne are both involved in a wonderful organization called Foundation for Dreams, Inc. Their mission is to celebrate abilities and develop the strengths of children with special needs and chronic illnesses ages 7-17 by collaborating with families to provide individualized result-based goals, family support, and recreation in a camp environment.
